Meet Ro&Zo - Ro&Zo
Our story began in March 2020 during the Co-Vid 19 pandemic. We had both worked together in the past (we have combined 15 years of experience in buying and manufacturing) and had a close friendship outside of work. Whilst we were in the heights of a nation-wide lockdown, we got talking and with certain high street brands falling through the net, we both strongly felt that there was a gap in the market. We wanted to create a brand which offered a wide range of fashionable, versatile and commercial styles for all women.
Both of us have a passion in guiding and advising women on how to style their Ro&Zo wardrobe staples. Our dream was to create a styling experience on both our website and social media and our aim is to encourage women to feel confident in everything she wears. We love wearing Ro&Zo and you will see both of us wearing all styles throughout our website and on social media platforms.
As female co-founders of Ro&Zo, we both are equally passionate about running the business but have specific talents. Rosie heads up the business side and the whole production/manufacturing side, as well as having an input on all creative ideas.
Zoe is the creative force behind the brand, in both design and print and transforming all her inspiration and vision into the most flattering shapes for you.
We are both responsible for building the global IG community and creating the brand dynamic along with our fabulous team.
Q: How Did you find working together independently at the beginning, whilst being in lockdown?
Zoe: We spoke every morning at 9am, got a plan together for the day and checked in numerous times throughout the day (thankful for whats-app!). It worked really well and we worked well as a team.
I actually got pregnant a few months into lockdown so that was an extra challenge juggling starting a brand and morning sickness!
Q: How did you come up with the name Ro&Zo?
Rosie: We initially had another name, which at the time we were 100% fixated on. We got to the stage of buying the name and it was taken. So after a few deliberations, brainstorms and chatting with friends and family for help, we came up with Ro&Zo (of course after our names Rosie & Zoe). Ironically everyone prefers this name!
Q: Where do you draw your inspiration from?
Zoe: It's been much trickier as you can imagine, with fashion shows being cancelled and shown as usual. We have taken to the streets of London, Pinterest and have even dragged our favourite styles out of our own wardrobes that we have updated and put our own twist on.
Q: Where are you selling Ro&Zo?
Rosie: We have had fantastic opportunities offered to us and we feel so privileged and appreciative, especially in these difficult times. We will be selling online at John Lewis, Next, Zalando and of course our own website. As well as being asked to launch in seven John Lewis retail stores around the country. We are extremely excited!
Q: Who is the Ro&Zo woman?
Zoe: The Ro&Zo woman is fun, trend conscious, who feels young at heart and wants versatile clothes that make her feel comfortable and glamorous. She wants to be a part of the sustainable journey of fashion and is looking for unique brands that she can incorporate in her wardrobe.
Q: What are your top 5 favorite pieces from the first collection?
Rosie: I absolutely love the Gathered Frill Dress in both green and black as it's perfect for a special occasion such as a wedding but also can  be worn a lunch with the girls.
Gathered Frill Dress
My next choice would be the Pale Grey Co-ord- We love a matching tracksuit and think the pale grey colour is so contemporary and cool. Not to mention comfortable!
Pale Grey Sweater
Another favourite is the Cotton Poplin shirts in Blue & Ivory. They can be worn to work tucked in with a skirt or dressed down on the weekend with jeans and trainers. The dropped puff sleeve adds a twist on a classic style!

Back onto loungewear, I love the camel colour and the handfeel of our knitted co ord. It feels SO luxurious and premium and can be worn around the house or a quick pop to the shops!
Camel Knitted Horn Button Sweater
My final choice has to be the Zebra Midi Shirt Dress. As all my friends and family know, I love dresses and wear them all year round! I also am partial to a mono print as so versatile and flattering. I would wear this dress with trainers to work and brunch and then with heels to a smart lunch or business meeting.

We hope you love our collection as much as we do and we can't wait to get to know you all better as we get further on our journey.
