Kirstee Leopard Print Ruffle Cami Maxi Dress

I was hesitant. I generally skip animal print, apart from small accessories. It's a tight rope walk to keep it sophisticated. I love quirky, but wont step into vulgarity. In one purchase attempt my husband described my animal print purchase as "" like Pat Butcher with an afro"" :-D . Needless to say, said items were returned. This dress does not give off that vibe. It's not worth the original price, but it's a versatile dress that hangs well and despite me being only 5ft 2 it was middaxi length on me. I purchased a 16. I am 38/38/46"" so that translates to size 14 bust, size 20 waist and size 18 hips but I knew from the photo that it would cope well with that, due to the bias cut and the layers. It will of course hang longer if you have less hips than the standard dress size measurements. I need a flattering cut after a 60lb weight loss where the excess skin has landed where you least want it, despite regular exercise. This will be good on its own in summer. But before then I can layer it with a black knitwear or blouse for work, or make it casual with flared jeans underneath. Good purchase. Did not ask husband's opinion this time. That's always a good sign ;-)
